Digital product under NDA: $445,000 net profit in one month

Film set
$1.2Mrevenue
$445,000net profit
$110,000spend on peak days

Before

An MVP, unit economics data and results from test launches. The goal: scale fast without losing the economics. At these volumes, every mistake costs tens of thousands of dollars within a couple of hours.

What we did

  1. 1

    Calculated payback before scaling. Using the test data, we set the acceptable cost per client and the point beyond which growth stops paying off.

  2. 2

    Scaled top-down. Not $50 tests, but a large volume of creatives and the maximum budget right away. We weren't buying traffic, we were buying the speed of finding winning combinations.

  3. 3

    Managed the budget live. Up to 100 campaigns in parallel, decisions every two or three hours. We cut what was expensive immediately, without “giving it another chance”, and raised budgets on winning combinations during the day, not once every 24 hours.

  4. 4

    Built our own scaling system that handled spend of up to $110,000 on peak days.

Result in one month

Ad budget $740,000, revenue $1,200,000, ROAS about 1.6, net profit $445,000 after ads and all operating expenses.

Why a ROAS of 1.6 is a good result

“1.6 is low”, say those who have never worked at this scale.

With aggressive scaling, ROAS always drops: that's how the auction works, not a breakdown. What matters is not the ratio of revenue to budget but how much money is left in the till. Here, $445,000 was left in one month.

What this meansfor you

Most people drop out not for lack of money but out of fear of spending it. Scaling without calculation becomes a lottery; scaling with calculation becomes a system.

  • we'll find where the ceiling is and why growth has stalled;
  • we'll show you where your next leads are;
  • we'll tell you where we'd start if we were you.

If we're not a good fit, we'll say so right away. If you decide to do it yourself, you keep the plan. Meanwhile, while you wait, your budget goes into an overheated audience and competitors win the people you haven't reached yet.
